Hey guys,
So I just spent a good $40 and bought 100 copies of Treasure Cruise .
What do you guys think about this? Is Treasure Cruise the next Gitaxian Probe ?
I mean, I can't imagine that it's going to dip to less than the .35 cents that I spent per, and moving 100 copies in a year's time shouldn't be too difficult if it remains a solid card.
So yeah! Are you guys specing on anything in Khans?
Trying to invest in commons from what will easily be a heavily-opened set (fetches) seems like much too much work to make a slight profit. You're better off working with foils when dealing with commons/uncommons, but the ship has sailed I think for most foils.

I bought a play set of Caryatids when it was about 7 a piece. Not great, bit I'm not complaining. Its not from Khans, bit its directly effected by it

If anything I don't think you'll lose money, but you also have the potential to have little to no profit as well. As a common that's in a set still currently being produced and opened the market will not be short on Treasure Cruise so I don't see it's value rising too much while it's standard legal. However, since the card has already shown its value and appeared in legacy and modern list, in the long term, as Khans becomes more and more scarce it does have the potential to rise. I just think your investment may be more long term than your planning (if it does pans out).
