Hey all, I am not very savvy on how price changes work in the Magic, but at the midnight Pre-release for Amonkhet I pulled a Rhonas the Indomitable (Masterpiece version) this guy is going for about $80 right now, do you guys suspect he will go up or down in value over time? And why?
I just noticed you wanted reasoning behind it. The reason I think it won't be worth more given time is because it's a masterpiece. Yes, that makes it rare but also very unattainable, thus a lower demand. Especially when most masterpiece counterparts are 15$ vs 80$. Most will just pick the non-masterpiece. Hope this helps!

Sell the hell out of it. The card may look nice and all, but it has very little playable value outside of Standard, and that card itself is not Standard legal (the Masterpiece/Invocation version). So, get rid of it now, and laugh all way to the bank.

I'd keep it for my own personal reasons, but if you're looking for $$$ I'd say go ahead and sell it soon.
Sidenote, DrLitebur Invocations/masterpieces are tournament legal in whatever format their regular printing is legal in.

Thank you all for the advise, it helped me a lot, I have decided to sell the card, if anyone was curious about the outcome.

Sell now! It will never be worth more than what it is now.
