I am looking at either buying or trading for Rings of Brighthearth . They are worth ~$40, but I could see that drastically dropping if they are reprinted as they are from an older, lower print volume set. Do you think that 1.) they will be reprinted anytime soon and 2.) should I wait before trying to acquire them?
If you will play with it, get it. I don't see it getting a reprint this year. It could be reprinted in a core set, or a supplemental set. As stated above the next supplemental set will not have it. I doubt this year's core set will have it with all the walkers being around. It's a little more than what's normally included in commander precons. So the next time I think it could get a reprint is this fall if we have another supplementary set.
Even if reprinted, I doubt it will drop a whole lot. It slots into and functions with just about any edh deck.
All of this is just my opinion though. It could get reprinted in war of the spark if the story has a Walker bring it with them. I don't see that happening, but can't say that it not possible.

Core set 2020 isn't that far away, it being the next set after War of the Spark, and it could very well include something such as this or a reprint of The Chain Veil I think. Core 2019 did afterall give us Crucible of Worlds , Omniscience and Scapeshift , so I don't think such is too far out there. But along those same lines, because of so many planeswalkers that could rather be the exact reason it wouldn't be included in a core set. More likely than not, I think this card is going to go up in price even more sadly.

Nah, they can double walker activations and with War of the Spark... yeah they prolly going up. I mean, it is too expensive for either signature spellbook or EDH precons, and Modern Horizons doesn't reprint from modern cards... the masters sets that were meant to do it are gone, and it is set specific and I think they said no more lorwyn.
Sorry man, they are going to be going up, and not gonna get reprinted.
