Uhh...what happened to Scion of the Ur-Dragon's price? How did it spike to $10.00? Is it bcause of Modern season, or some other format?

lol Scion in modern? no. he is played in EDH as a commander and that is about it. people want to play tribal dragons with the release of DTK

It probably has to do with the new Fate Reforged dragons and the impending Dragons of Tarkir dragons

ok, confession time: i do have 1 copy for EDH (he was my first general) and I was planning to buy extra ones (for alters) plus 1 foil, but surprise surprise! and FRF dragons, huh? don't need them to make it deadlier, although Silumgar's hexproof does help

asasinater13: if people did buy him for impending dragons in DTK, it should go down a bit if the dragons there are...lackluster.

It is all hype. same with Maralen of the Mornsong. She jumped up to $13, and now she is down to 4 again. Same thing will happen with Scion, I think

It's collateral damage from Worldgorger Dragon unbanning hype.

It will probably trickle down in price and plateau just above where it was.... unless it wins an event.

Each thread created has a 1/13 chance of deteriorating into madness. This is a good example.
