What can we expect of the value of scrylands after the standard rotaion?

The scry lands aren't rotating out this year. Their value largely depends on their Standard viability, which means it depends on what duals we see in the next core set and block.
Temple of Enlightenment is currently the only scry land above $5 or so. There's not a ton of value in them right now.
Abrupt Decay will be rotating out, and its long-term prospects are good. It's a staple in other formats.

yea Abrupt Decay is a power house in all eternal formats cause it can kill about 90% of the things in those formats

Scry lands will likely stay around where they are now. The price memory on them being $5, and the somewhat disdain of it being guildgate with scry is going to keep the price from rising. I would grab your playsets if you need them but not invest further.
While other standard staples are declining, like say Sphinx's Revelation . Abrupt Decay has been holding steady and rising slowly recently. It doesn't even see a lot of standard play, so if all the current demand is eternal it might not even dip at rotation or at least not much. Long term it's a good hold, it sees a fair amount of play in Modern and Legacy.

Ok, my point was to say that because the shock lands will rotate out what do you think about the value of scry lands? Of corse there will be something in the next core set but as a general statement do you think they will go up, down, or stay the same?My thought is that because there will be no guild gates, scrylands will be the new go-to land when on a budget. Meaning that they will either go up because of demand or down do to there new position as budget.

I don't see them going up. You're still forgetting that we have another block as well. We'll see more lands, and everything depends on what happens with the next few releases.

Ok, Ive been recently trading to have a playset of each and just wanted to make sure they weren't going to bottom out on me.

The Scry lands will be lucky to see $1.00 after rotation. It's a Guildgate with Scry. There are soooo many better options than that. City of Brass , Copperline Gorge , Yavimaya Coast , Shocks... Etc. Don't get me wrong, Scry has it's uses though.
If the next block doesn't have any good mana fixing as far as duals, you can count on Scry lands going up. And I would sell/trade then.

1st off, not all the scry lands have been released
2nd what makes the scry land powerful is the ability to dig for spells. It's powerful for standard, but in eternal formats there are cards that do this exponentially better, not to mention having lands coming in untapped in those formats is crucial. So price wise, I'd say they stay below $5 when they do rotate out... Which is another year and a half or so. That's a lot of time for other lands to drop in as the format changes

Temple o deceit and enlightenment see modern play in angels grace ad nasuem, and I think ur has potential as a 1-2 of in storm. Ive got foils of tjem for edh and non foils for standard

I don't see the long term value of the Scrylands post rotation, but for Standard purposes they're certainly worth holding onto.

Scyrlands = tempo loss they may see fringe play post rotation in a control strategy. They are decent in EDH as well. I see these as $ .5 to $1 paper and $.25-$.50 for MTGO tops.
Abrupt decay is viable in all formats I see this going up post rotation
