Second thoughts on a trade.

Hey guys, so to get right to the point, just as the title says I'm having second thoughts on a trade I made this weekend. I recently traded away 3 of my 4 Battlefield Forges (+ some odds and ends I didn't need no more), that I was thinking on using in my Boros deck to replace the khans ally-land (Wind-Scarred Crag). In exchange, I received a Seasons Past, Brain in a Jar, Corrupted Grafstone, and some other filler which was a few foil commons. Many of the cards I'm experimenting with in my EDH deck, and only one of the cards, a Tome Scour, has a permanent home as of this posting.
Now my concern was that I both lost out on a long term economic gain, and cards for my deck, and I'm also not too sure on the future value of the cards I picked up? Do you think any of the cards I picked up are going to move? And, most importantly, if I need a Forge again, would now be a good time to buy?
Thanks in advance!

Battlefield Forge will move... down. It has a crap ton of printings and barely sees any play in any format. Post rotation it'll be a quarter to fifty cent card. The Corrupted Grafstone will rise with time as it's a solid foil mana rock that is fantastic in any EDH Reanimator list.

Yeah; whoever made the trade with you definitely cut you a deal. The Forge is going to be $1 for the rest of its life come October, whereas Brain will retain some amount of "kitchen table" value after it rotates out. Seasons Past is an EDH card and will probably be $3-4 forever and the Grafstone might settle at $2-3 for EDH.
As for the quality of those cards, they're all kinda meh.

Well, I would say that 4.2 dollars worth of cards you traded are not really high value swingy market movers, so you should be fine.
Plus, in accordance with current prices on this site alone, you received nearly double that in value.
All the cards you picked up (except for Corrupted Grafstone) will move within this year. Given that they are cards in standard that see little play, it is unlikely they will move anywhere but down.
Forge was reprinted in Origins, so it will not move for the next 2-3 years.
