For those of you who sell on TCG Player what point do you sell your cards at in relation to the mid and low prices?
I also set myself to match lowest price, although sometimes I will go even lower to drum up some extra sales. Keep in mind though I have a HUGE stock of low money cards to work with and Im looking to move them at a decent pace. If i had sold in lots on ebay I would have been giving half of them away so its worth it for me personally. The thing to understand about tcg player is EVERYTHING is optimized around finding the lowest price for the buyer. You might think if you mark some stuff low that people will maybe add on other cards from you that are moderately priced since they are already shopping with you however that is rarely the case. The exception is brick and mortar stores who get to offer the free shipping with $20 or more super shipping option.Bottom line: you need to be willing to sell at the lowest price to make a go at tcg player, it still ends up more $$ than you would make with star city or ebay.Hope that helps!

I'm already making a decent amount, selling a lot of mid grade ($5-$10) cards with a few bulk and high value mixed in. I think the hardest part is having enough stock to push the low value cards at a good price to come out ahead.

i usually list things according to what i want, dissolve for example might be 33c free shipping 1 in stock, so you need to buy something else from that seller to get that 1 dissolve. i list 4 for 49c each plus 99c shipping, if you need 1 you prolly need more so i know ill sell at least 3, plus 99c shipping
things like thoughtseize i list at what i want, like 16 + shipping, and just wait, eventually itll sell, other stuff ill cash out at lowest if i just want it to move

Personally I set my stuff to "match lowest price" but that's because I only list things that I actually want to be rid of like standard stuff that will be rotating this fall. I have listed a few things above that but so far they have not sold after 4-5 days. TCG is a race to the bottom market. If you want your product to move you need to be priced as such.
