Shock Lands

I have a bunch of shock lands and I was wondering if I should trade or sell them. I also figured that they might go way up in price when they rotate out (like fetchlands). How much do you think that they would go up (if they will), and if I should trade or sell them now?

I would definitely hold onto a playset of each shockland you own. Eventually you may want to get into modern and they are crucial to the modern scene, plus over time these will only get higher in price. For about a year or two after all the standard players dump their copies of them the price will go down a bit and from there rise.

I am going to wait until they rotate out until i start picking up my missing play sets.
The slump will make it all the sweeter when the modern players start snooping around.

Honestly, this whole "post-rotation drop" thing is way overused nowadays. Sure, it's generally accurate, but it isn't a catch-all.
The shocks are, competitively speaking, one of the best cycles ever printed. There's great demand for them, so the secondary market will snatch them up instantly.
Beyond that, players have been getting more economically savvy since Innistrad, and they generally realize when a card is going to have lasting value. You shouldn't assume anymore that every Standard player is going to instantly liquidate his or her collection come rotation. Many people are going to hold onto their shocks, just as many held onto Snapcaster or LotV.

You can give them to me :)
In all seriousness, hold onto them. Look at the original Ravnica shocks. They were at $30 a piece pre-RTR. Everyone who wants to play modern needs shocks, making them an incredibly safe investment.

yes, keep them, in a couple of years during modern season you can expect to shift them for a lot.

You should keep them, they will drop initially post rotation, only because all the standard players will be selling them, but they will increase after a few months I believe. I am holding onto a playset of each shockland.
