Should I trade my Liliana?

I currently have a Liliana of the Veil kicking around in my EDH deck, and floating around like that, but I'm not even close to considering buying others. (Being a Highschooler, I don't exactly have the money to spend.)
I'm also thinking of building an Affinity Deck, although slightly on budget, so should I try trading her for staples in modern+staples in affinity?

I live right next to a place where they do standard/modern FNM every week, so I'm looking to build a more competitive deck than what I have been running, a Elf Tempo/Devotion deck.
So, I think that you are correct about what I should do.
Does anyone know what I should trade for, preferably?

Would you rather a bunch of cheaper cards or a few of the more expensive cards?

I think that I would rather have a few of the more expensive cards, maybe a few exclusively for Affinity, but some that I would be able to trade still, if I need to get more value later on.
So, I want a few that are exclusive to Affinity, but also a few that are in Affinity builds, but are more ambiguous.

Ok, so our good friend Liliana of the Veil is currently worth 90$. The hardest cards to get from the Robots/Affinity deck are Arcbound Ravager and Mox Opal. I would trade for a playset of ravagers, cause the other is out of price and could go in the budget thing.
I don't know what would be your budget, but a lot of the cards are really easy to get whil others are under 10$ each. I'm also a highschooler, and would be able to buy the rest (except maybe from the lands and the f***ing plyset of Mox Opal). That is my opinion.

Well, in that case look into the lands like Inkmoth Nexus and the ravager like I said above ;)

The good news though is that Mox Opals are now $15 cheaper than they were before Modern Masters 2.

lol, I completely agree with you, thegigibeast.
I have a job, but I have a very small spending allowance for myself for MtG. So, I probably have around $20-$30 a month to spend, realistically.
I think that I'll try to get the playset of Arcbound Ravager, and a few other bulk rares, or even cards in Affinity.
Thanks for all of the input and answers!

Whenever you're thinking about trades and you actually need cards, just stop valuing the potential rise of a card and go for it. For instance, I just gave my Omniscience away. I got it for $5 a year ago and it's gone up in price. I desperately need U/W staples for modern atm, so I traded the thing for 2x Path to Exile, 4x Mana Leak, and an Azorius Charm for tiny leaders. It's likely that Omniscience will keep rising, but what is that to me when I genuinely need the cards I traded for. Heck, it's already up a dollar from when I traded mine away. Besides, the cards I got where staples, so I now have much more stable cards on me.

How bad do you want to play affinity / modern? If you have access to events every week, i'd say go for it. If it's only as often as you play EDH, then maybe hold off.
