Signature on fake Thawing Glaciers

I bought a bundle of cards earlier and looks like I ended up with a fake Thawing Glaciers. I'm at the office and can't compare it yet to my other Alliances cards at home but it fails the light test. Other Type 1 lands (Urza tron, Mirage fetch, etc) are ok.

What I'm trying to figure out is whose signature this is supposed to be? I'm guessing whoever did this just printed an image off the web. Here's a high def pic: Click me

Well, I guess some kid just wrote on the card. I'm not able to read what is written on it, but I don't think it is somethings special.

That is the weirdest card to fake, but I also don't know what the game looked like back when it saw play, so maybe there was a reason :3

Finally figured it out (well...someone pointed it out to me), it's Janosch Kuhn. Looks like it was a scanned world championship deck card, then pasted on another card.

It might have been used as a proxy and "signed" by the player to denote that it wasn't real.

What does the back look like? Looks like the world championship thawing glaciers with the borders colored in.

It has a regular card back; I would've easily spotted the black championship backing. Here it is sandwiched between a Force of Will and Phelddagrif. Also notice how "crisp" the artwork frame is in the other two cards. Clicky

The border on that thawing glaciers is colored/painted on. The picture shows that. The signature matches the one I have.

Could not find a great picture. I might be able to take on later of mine. No idea how or why it would have a regular back though.

Somehow I completely missed your comment before that said you figured it out. Sorry about that
