Sliver Queen Condition Help

Hello everyone! I recently bought a Sliver Queen off of TCGplayer that was supposed to be NM and... I don't think it is. My question here is, based off the images in the link, what condition would you say it is?
Does it even make sense for me to pursue a kind of fix for this seeing as it's such an old card?

NM is a very high grade, pack fresh. There are very few cards from 25+ years ago that are still pack fresh. Card backs seem to be in worse shape more often than fronts, looks like this is the case here. The fading on the back, combined with chipping around the border, I'd agree and put this around VG or MP. Older cards in gen. don't take such a hit when it comes to conditions, this is a fairly high dollar card though. Even if you were to take 25% off NM price due to its used condition, you are talking 25-30 buck difference in this case. I'd look at other copies in mp/vg conditions and compare to what you were charged. If this were a 5-10 buck rare and you got hosed for like 2 dollars, I wouldn't make a fuss. I would def. bring it up with the seller in this case though.

Oof. okay thanks everyone. I was thinking it wasn't right, but needed a second opinion. :)

So in general for online purchases off TCGplayer, should I only grab something at this price point if it has a picture? I'd like to avoid getting something that's clearly way off the mark like this in the future.

Nemesis - Oof, someone definitely mislabeled that Queen you bought. It is well within the MP card condition - ( refer to the TCGplayer card condition guide as a reference) You should absolutely raise the issue and get your money back. I've had a similar experience with a seller on TCGPlayer, the seller simply refunded me the money and promptly blocked me from being able to do business with them in the future. No skin off my back, it's them who tarnished their reputation with a customer.
Going forward, communication is key. If you are going to buy anything high priced reach out to the seller and simply ask them about your concerns. In addition to asking about card quality i've asked if the card is confirmed to be a legitimate MTG card - because i'm scared of Chinese fakes. Granted, i've always asked these questions to sellers on ebay - but I always receive a friendly and honest reply. Unless they are selling a Chinese fake...then I get the fun replies. But yeah. Get your money back - they made a mistake in that card listing.

That's definitely a fair point. I'll take this to heart in the future. I'm planning on buying a handful of Jace's so this advice will be used then. Thanks :)

My two cents, with buying any collectible online... There is a price threshold, which if an item is priced above, I won't buy it unseen. Some sellers get a pass with this, if they have a very high approval rating, like 99.5% and above. Those sellers are more likely to work with you if the description is off. Pretty much anything over $50, I need pics, or try to buy in person. That isn't always possible, but I try to wait it out til it is.
