So, Cloudstone Curio is now a lot of money...

A buyout? I mean, I don't know of any competitive Modern or Legacy decks that utilize Curio. It is a key combo piece in EDH decks, though. I use it in my Animar, Soul of Elements build; quite glad I picked it up for $5.00 a few months ago.

Oh wow. I bought one for my EDH deck a week ago for five bucks.

I think CVM also made day 2 with Cloudstone Elves at the Charlotte Open.

Gah, I thought this year's buyouts were over as modern season comes to a close. Apparently not.

Definitely a buyout. From yesterday's ProTrader briefing e-mail from MTGPrice:
I seriously doubt the price will sustain anything near where it is right now.

Yarp. It's because of that new elf in Origins- the one that makes another 1/1 elf when it enters. It virtually goes infinite with itself and Curio, making 'combo elves' a much better deck.
