Hey guys, I wanted to build a delver list, which should obviously include snappy. He is currently floating around $60, and is there any chance he will be reprinted anytime soon? Eldritch Moon? Eternal Masters maybe? Will his price go down anytime soon?

I kinda think it's funny when people speculate about cards like snappy or Liliana or things like that being reprinted in sets. That pretty much never happens for anything rarer than uncommon unless it's in a modern masters, conspiracy, or (probably) ema.

still waiting on that Goblin Guide reprint in Battle for Zendikar...
I doubt Snappy will drop any time soon. It's one of those cards it's best to just bite the bullet on. Even if it does, you'll get your values worth in play-ability.

I would imagine he won't be seeing a reprint until Modern Masters 3. He's a headline card for modern, but not for eternal formats. Sure he sees play, but he's not the blue card in eternal formats the same way he is in modern. So I think it's fairly safe to say he's not seeing a reprint until 2017.

Nope. Buy him while he's still $60, because I'm almost entirely sure he'll go up soon. Why? Because of the unbannings. Trust me when I say Snapcaster Mage will see a ton of play in the blue decks that will be playing with Ancestral Vision, and that these blue decks will be the decks to beat.

You can't flashback ancestral visions with snapcaster mage. It has no mana cost. I see snapcaster staying at his price just because he's a good card overall. Also, if they print something really good in the future that pairs well with him, then he'll probably just go up. Worth the $60.

I've been holding off until we see what's in EMA. If he's reprinted as a rare, we might see a price drop. If he isn't reprinted or reprinted as a mythic, his price will likely climb or stay steady.
