I've seen discussion on how much potential this card has, and after some thinking, I spent $12 on a playset. It's a very small way to get myself into the investment side of MTG.

How much return do you think I can see on this card? Is it too early to tell?

It's to early to tell, but I really like it. I'm testing 2 in my SB, and thinking of moving them main in my G/W hatebears deck.

I can see it going off in legacy. Modern possibly. I got mine in a trade recently. I stopped buying cards a few months ago. Sick of bad pulls. Lol.

For real, I ended up just buying the singles anyways. Figured I would save a few extra bucks.

I can see it being used in every format that allows it, EDH and Legacy especially. Maybe Vintage.

But honestly I think it's worth it, at $2.20 each card + shipping, I can't go wrong.

it's definitely still too early to tell. As modern season progresses and legacy tournaments report you'll have a much better idea.

keep in mind there is going to be a huge amount of volatility b/c it'll be in standard for next 18 months. So if it sees play in a few top end standard decks it'll spike and drop around rotation then go up / down more depending on other format play.

keep an eye on Death and Taxes in legacy and hate bears in Modern. If it becomes a 4 of main board you will have made a very strong investment.

Haha those are the two decks I expect it to see play in, so I hope I did!
