Just went to pick up a set of Splinter Twins and saw the price, where is it getting played to support its price tag?
Commander EDH and a lack of a reprint.
It sees the most play in decks such as Riku of Two Reflections, Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer
, and Ghired, Conclave Exile given how these commanders interact with and work around tokens.

There appears to have been a buy out a month ago and it hasn't equalized back down to the $6.50 it was before the buyout. The $6.50 price is because price memory from before it was banned in modern.
