Sword of the Animist, underpriced?

Am I the only one surprised that Sword of the Animist isn't more expensive?
It seems to go in a ton of casual commander decks, and I can't imagine a single Commander 2017 printing is meeting the demand as Commander swells to one of the largest format.

Sorry, poor wording on my part. I meant that I would imagine the demand since Origins has increased much more than the supply since Origins (which is only C17), not that it was only printed in C17

It's pretty good in casual, creature-based strategies; however, its not going to see the play of something like Cultivate or even Rampant Growth just due to its attacking requirement. Add in the relatively high supply and that's a recipe for a couple dollar or so price ceiling unless a serious deck archetype picks it up and runs with it.

WOTC has been fighting tooth and nail to make red and white stand-alone colors in EDH, and Sword is a passable option to hit your land drops. I always thought the card was undervalued.

It has 3 printings, 2 of which were in pre made decks. So supply is decent. It's mainly used in casual edh decks. If it doesn't see a reprint in the coming year, it will gradually go up in price.

When origin's was standard legal Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip was a $100 card making that set opened to oblivion, it is actually amazing the card is worth more than a dollar.
That being said the price on it is still so low you could buy a handful cheap and sit on it, the money might be better spent buying up shock lands under $5 whenever you can, but small gambles can be fun.

It was also printed in Magic Origins. So larger supply then just commander.
