I am looking at picking up one or the other. I can use both in decks, so that isnt an issue, but price is. Would it be worth spending more on The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale vs Mishra's Workshop ? At this point i cant really decide and am looking for sugestions.

I like the Tabernacle, but both are amazing cards.

Tabernacle can be used in Legacy as well as Vintage, whereas Workshop only in Vintage. EDH of course, too. You can get away with one Tabernacle in Legacy, where most MUD decks in Vintage run 4x Workshop.

Personally, I'm partial to Mishra's Workshop . They don't cost $483...they cost $1,932 for a playset. The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale isn't on the reserved list, while Mishra's Workshop is. Seeing as how you generally need four, I'd get Mishra's Workshop to get started on four.

Out of personal preference, I would go for The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale . I just like the card better and the decks it goes in usually only need 1 copy anyway.

@sylvannos: Sadly, Tabernacle is on the Reserved List.

@Rhadamanthus: Derp. I had my search function set to case sensitive when I was looking. Still vote for Mishra's Workshop lol.
