is the chain veil possible to go up in price with C14 coming out, even if it's just a temporary spike while people want it?
Very doubtful, at the end of the day The Chain Veil is an all around bad card. Really the ONLY place it fits is in a Walker build and you would want to be running ALOT of Walkers. I dont think C14 will push the price on this at all.

I could see some fun shenanigans with Teferi, Temporal Archmage 's emblem and The Chain Veil with something like Seedborn Muse . It's a bit fringe though, but I see why you would ask.

I don't think it will go anywhere. That's not gonna stop me from running it in an EDH Superfriends deck though. Just think ~ Teferi Walker lets you activate loyalty abilities on EVERY turn. Throw in a doubling season and BAM instant emblem and let the fun begin. Fringe? Maybe. Doable? Yes. Gonna get me hated out of my play group? Probably. But it'll be one hell of a ride.

Bellock86 While you're at it, Tezzeret the Seeker + Garruk Wildspeaker /Nissa, Worldwaker (to untap four mana worth of land) + The Chain Veil for infinite walker activations (unless someone interferes of course). Because why not?
