Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip has quite the price tag! When was the last time we had an extremely expensive card in a set while it was in Standard?
Yea I can't think of another nonfoil standard card with that kind of price

Yeah, have been some very expensive cards in the past, but nothing really comes close to the Jaces. I think the Mind Scuptor was around $90 in its day, it'll be interesting to see if flip Jace reaches that with Innistrad returning.

Stoneforge Mystic was not particularly expensive when it was in Standard. I think I paid $40 for a 4x playset just before it got banned.

oh, I was inactive at the time of zendikar (I know terrible timing), so I wouldn't know.

Nissa, Worldwaker was more on release, ($40), but I'd imagine LotV and JtMS were more.

The most expensive since I stated playing again was Thundermaw Hellkite @ ~$40-$45.
