Time Warp future?

So Mono Blue Time Warp got 3rd at SCG Philidelphia yesterday. What are the thoughts on Time Warp going up. It's already $11-$13. Will it rise anymore or chill where it's at.

It currently only sees play in edh, where is is pretty good.

I don't see why it would go up, the only thing that I could see as a possibility is it going down is a reprint. Perhaps in a future commander set

I think Time Warp will remain 10-15 $ for the near and long time in future

Also Threads like this are kind of annoying especially for a card that hasn't been reprinted in a few years, Just look at the price trend chart

PutridLeech. I feel like you might be misunderstanding the question I was asking. I was curious about what other people thought would happen to the price of Time Warp because of its recent success due to a Modern SCG Premier IQ.

When a deck does well, especially at large events like this one, key cards tend to go up in price. I wasn't asking whether or not the card would go up in price just because.

Looking at the Price trend chart does not give the information required to make a correct guess as to whether it will go up in price. All a price trend chart does it tell you whether or not a card went up in price in the past or not, not the reason why it changed price.

Also, I don't see how it is annoying to post questions like this in the economics thread. the economics thread is specifically here for people to post questions like this.

Time warp put up so results a while back. Can't remember when though. It's a surprise deck. As far as I can tell, its only method of winning is by milling, which means it will automatically scoop to any deck packing eldrazi. I can't imagine that its twin matchup is great either. That being said, no one is sideboarding for it, so if you are a skilled pilot you can surprise a tournament and win on both the lack of dedicated hate as well as the fact that very few people know how to play against it, primarily because it isn't a deck that most people have played against before.

it's also on the scg site

besides milling it can swing with an active Thassa, God of the Sea or an awakened land from Part the Waterveil.

PutridLeech What are you even saying? Your post doesn't make any sense. It's only ever been reprinted in Core sets; Core sets are no longer being reprinted. So that means the only venue for reprint is now A. Standard (Not likely) or B. Supplemental sets such as Commander (Most likely). Seeing as the CDR 2015 decklists have already been spoiled, and Time Warp is not included, I would deduce that in a year this card will easily double before it can be reprinted. This thread is very helpful, and I'm happy because I'm now going to buy a playset. Thanks MADMatt7777

The fact that it's $11 already and only played in EDH (mostly), means that it will absolutely go up if it makes the transition into Modern (Which it did with a Top 3 finish against a very potent field of decks) This card will easily jump to $20.

The only possible flaw I see in the original post is that it did not include a lot of information, but that's ok.

DrFunk27, thanks for the comment. I'm glad you understood what I was trying to ask. I thought it made complete sense. I do agree I did not supply enough information, but I feel like the question was pretty straight forward.

Tempest was it's first printing.

edit, as far as price, you will only see a quick spike, then it will die down. It will prob see a reprint in something like c16 too.

It would need to show up a little stronger, and more frequent to see a significant spec target I think.
