To sell or not to sell foil Archangel of Tithes ?

At the pre-release I got lucky, I got 4 mythic rares, one of them being a foil Archangel of Tithes (the others I got are Day's Undoing Kytheon, Hero of Akros  Flip and Starfield of Nyx).

I think the Archangel will prove useful, but since I don't really care about him being foil... should I sell/trade him now? Or wait a bit?

(I play casual modern and edh... so comments on what useful cards of those formats I can trade him for are welcome too).

if you don't care about him being foil then find someone who wants a foil and just say that you want part of the trade to be a non-foil. then get the rest in value.

I might be interested in the foil angel. I have a playset of non-foil archangel's I preordered, should be here later in the week. If you wanted to swap angels and fill in the rest of the trade with value, feel free to check out my binder.

i preordered the awesome gorgeous art in foil for my edh deck. My advice is to keep it! :-) I think it will be unlikely it drops much and will definitely stay higher than this eventually, so its not a bad keep. just for EDH this thing will stay around the current price in foil IMO

Really? I thought it'd be dropping pretty fast after release.

@Tibs: nope it's only dropped 61 cents from its pre-order price.

main reason i don't think it will drop is that its an angel. Look at angel of serenity. look at angel of despair, cards that I don't think are used anywhere competitively, adarkar valkyrie, akromas, etc etc all are rather expensive for foils. All down to EDH, i think this will stay high cuz shes unique and cheap to cast
