I have a deck I currently own, has some alright cards, but majority aren't really great, and I'm trying to fray the cost for a new deck. How would I go about trading the whole deck or would it be better to trade part of it? Thanks!
Sorry, I do mean to trade players at an LGS. I have a few near me and I've had issues with mailing stuff before. Thank you for your advice!

Mailing to individuals can be tedious at times I admit, but its the fastest way to get cards in my opinion. Also, you trade your cards for full value which always feels better then selling them for a discounted price.
Sending buylist to a store like Channelfireball takes a lot longer but is an easier task overall. They have detailed instructions on the websites that are very easy to follow. Also you can sell bulk to the larger stores to help get you those cards you're looking for!

I trade a decent amount when I go to my LGS, I've never seen anyone try to trade for a whole deck. If someone were to ask me, I would probably only include cards worth more than a buck or two in the appraisal.
Your LGS might be different, but at mine it would be easier to trade singles.

You can create a trade binder here on the website. Then make a post in the forum labeled "The Trading Post". In your post be sure to provide a link to your binder and a short explanation explaining what your looking to trade for and notable cards you have to trade. There are very many trustworthy traders on this site. If you're new to trading then some may ask you to send first until you get a good trading reputation.
Other options would be selling your cards to various online buylist. These include Channelfireball.com, Starcitygames.com,and Coolstuffinc.com to name a few. If you choose the in store credit option most stores will offer more money for your cards. The average rate for cash is 50%, whereas if you choose in store credit they will give you 70%, and even 80%.
Finally, you could also travel to your local game stores and seek to trade cards with other players or to the store itself.
Hope this helps friend!
