I just opened a tone of packs and I want to know what commons/uncommons I should be looking for for my trade binder. I only ask because I know certian ones like Experiment One and Young Pyromancer are a couple bucks each and are worth more then some of my mythics.

What?! Sphere of Safety is 1.50? I always liked it, but I never knew it had any worth.

SCG prices, like any other online ones, are debatable :)

On tcgplayer.com mid/magiccards.info, Sphere of Safety is $0.29. It's good to check with multiple sources when pricing cards.

Aha. Scg is just projecting its price then. I hate when people overvalue cards for speculation. I typically use tcgplayer anyway

Why is Guttersnipe worth anything? What on earth runs him?

@Jp3ngu1nb0y

Travis Woo created a Standard deck that ran cards like Guttersnipe and Nivix Cyclops back when Innistrad block provided access to flashback cards. It saw some success, top 8ing a PTQ. Players have also experimented with it in Legacy Delver of Secrets  Flip decks. Finally, it's a card with a lot of casual appeal.

Guttersnipe is amazing

Cool? Yea. Amazing? Not so much. 3 mana is above curve for a creature in the type of deck that would use it.

Eh, it's amazing if you don't have a lot of money and you like burn

True

The way I see it, once you have enough mana to get him out, you obviously have enough to use some good burn spells.

He's also a good partner with Young Pyromancer

yes, Guttersnipe for 2 damage per instant/sorc + Young Pyromancer for chump blockers while waiting for Spellheart Chimera to come out and get pumped by all your spells in the graveyard. red for direct damage and blue for counterspells. rinse. repeat.

You could look through some recent winning decklists, and see what commons/uncommons they run. Cloudfin Raptor and Frostburn Weird may not be money cards, but a lot of people use them.
