I usually don't do this, but figured why the hell not. This is for an in person trade at my lgs.

Pile A - 2 mm2 Tarmogoyfs

Pile B - 2 NM Mox Diamond, 2 MP Mox Diamond, + filler

The filler is random stuff that was picked out by the other party and set off to the side for that person.

Goyf is much more likely to go down in price compared to the recently confirmed non-reprintable Mox Diamond. Pile B FTW!

EmblemMan Once ETM said 'No Reserve list cards,' all the good cards on the list shot up in value.

I'd take the Mox Diamond pile, Goyf can be reprinted at any time, wherein Diamond is likely never going to be.

I see I honestly did not know diamond was on the reserved list thanks and idk honestly if youre going to use the diamonds then sure get them since you arent using the goyfs but 80 is a lot for these cards I am not really sure if this reserved list inflation will last especially since they reprinted it in a FTV so its not like they are opposed to reprinting it in some fashion unlike other reserved list cards like say...tabernacle.

Diamond was actually printed during a time when it was OK to print Reserved cards in foil, but WotC closed that loophole a few years ago. That's also how we have Gaea's Cradle foils.

Err, it was Vault Printed, I should say.

A lot of good points, thanks. As it is pointed out by fellow traders, that I would be the one giving up the goyfs. Probably shouldn't have posted a trade thread to get rid of the other 2 yet, lol.

I think they are going to continuously reprint Tarmogoyf in future Modern Masters sets along with confidants, hierarchs, and cryptics. So flipping them for a set of reserved cards that I may or may not use seems like a good idea. A year from now we'll see if I'm right about the reprinting of those staples.

MM1 goyfs and beyond will fall. Only the original Goyf will be worth anything in a few years time.
