Trade or Hold Decay

I was wondering if I should hold my playset of Abrupt Decay or trade them for two AEther Vial? I know decays will go up, but I'd like to finish my modern merfolks and it's the only tradeable set I have. Is it worth the trade or do I wait for them to go up?
I agree with xlaleclx. Abrupt Decay, while slowly going up, is the most valuable rare from the second most opened-set ever. it'll still be around when you need 'em later.

I'd trade two vials for a playset of abrupt decays in a heartbeat. HMU if you are down with that :)

Actually, Steam Vents is slightly more valuable now.

Are you an investor, or are you a player? As a player you should take the cards you are going to play, if you're going to play AEther Vial, trade away. However if you like to collect good, playable cards and plan to play a variety of archetypes, the Abrupt Decays are very useful in GBx decks.

I'd go for the trade. Aether Vial gets played in more than just Merfolk in both Modern and Legacy, so trading up for the Vials seems like a smart idea if you're planning on using them.

AEther Vial has the potential for another Modern Masters reprint in a month. Abrupt Decay does not, and there's no telling when it will be reprinted. If you can wait a month to see what happens, I would.

If you need aether vials for your deck then trade for them. Don't hold off playing with a deck just so you can maybe make a couple dollars value in a year
