So, which pile would you take
Pile A:4 Green C14 Decks
Pile B:1x Breeding Pool (Gatecrash)1x Steam Vents (Guildpact)1x Maze of Ith (The Dark)2x Watery Grave (Ravnica)1x Scroll Rack (Tempest)
Would you?
Basically is it common sense to trade useless sealed products for for sure good legacy/modern staples?
Do the math, are the cards in 1 C14 deck (multiplied times 4) equal to the cost of those modern staples?

And didn't see that 4. Whoops. It says about $30 dollars on most sites, sometimes a bit more, so that's $120. Even though there's about a $20 difference between the piles, I would choose the staple pile. There's barely anything of value in the precon.

Absolutely pile 2. Those decks are fine to buy if you're gonna play with them, but no one plays with four of the same deck, and there aren't enough valuable pieces in the decks to be worth breaking down and selling. You can't resell the decks very easily, because most people can still get them from a game store, and will do so if they actually want the deck.

Pile 2. If Pile 1 consisted of 4 different commander decks (and preferably either the 1st series or c13) then I'd take pile 1, but I'd rather have the singles.

Definitely pile 2. It's more likely to go up in price, plus, the cards are actually good cards.
