Not to mention that the English print run was smaller than the Chinese and Japanese ones. The set was for appeal in Asia, so English copies were only available to Australia and New Zealand

Not to mention, Imperial Seal is strictly worse than vamp tutor, it is a sorcery, rather than an instant, but commander players do not care.

Anyone who plays a singleton format (ie Highlander/EDH/DC) doesn't care if a card is strictly worse than something else, so long as it is strictly the same (because you know, you can't have more than one of anything so variance is more of a bitch). So there will always be demand for these cards even if they are terrible, simply because it's pretty much the same thing as X card that everyone considers a staple (ie Vampiric Tutor/Imperial Seal to Demonic Tutor)

McKz you also have to remember that Vampiric Tutor was just reprinted in Eternal Masters, so the price is currently fairly low at the moment.

For me in the UK, I know it was about 45 on ebay before reprint- now it's 15 :)
