Anyone have an idea why Typhoon went from $2.54 to $35.00? Or was it just a buyout?

Nope, MTGStocks says it's still $2, but MTGStocks only updates once per day. On TCG it is $35. If it stays like that for the next ~10 hours Typhoon will make the #1 spot on MTGStocks tomorrow with a change of ~+1300%.

It's a buyout combined with a bit of 93/94 format play. Happened to many old card from ancient sets during the last few months (Reverberation, Disharmony, Field of Dreams, Storm World, King Suleiman, City in a Bottle to name just a few). Cheap cards with an extremely low supply are very easy to buy out and if you are the only seller on TCG you can just put in any random price - just look at the price curve of Storm World to see what I mean ;).

Then I stand corrected. So you're saying its seeing play in the 93/94 year format?
