Ugin vs. Karn price wise

So I know someone you got karn in a mmII booster pack, and I was wondering what people thought about a trade of Ugin, the Spirit Dragon for Karn Liberated. ATM they are exactly equal, (scg pricing) so I'd like to know longterm about their prices. My expectation is that this is a good trade and that ugin will drop in price after standard rotation. What are your opinions? Thanks!

Karn is more expensive. He also is a 4 of in tron (the only deck he is played in)because he can be cast on turn 3, not on turn 4 like Ugin.

ok I'm judging by the mmII price vs ugin's price on scg. Thanks, I figured karn would be more expensive than ugin in the long run almost definitely.

Always price cards based on TCG prices.

Modern Masters Karn is only a few dollars more expensive than Ugin.

oops I was reading the normal price for karn (it shows up when you hover over the card). I didn't realize since it had mmII art. Still I think karn is better in the long run.

Karn is definitely much better in the long run. Besides being slightly better because it can come down a turn earlier, it hasn't seen as much print as Ugin, which is still in an in-print set. Ugin is also in standard, meaning at least some of his price is driven by standard playability instead of Modern, meaning the price will drop once he rotates.
