I currently have a pair of cards I believe to be worth quite a bit in my possession:

The Abyss, good condition, some scuffing around the edges, I'd say "lightly played."

Revised full art Tropical Island, the back is pretty scuffed up, and probably whoever originally owned it wrote their initials in the bottom corner, "heavily played," could be considered "damaged."

I'd really appreciate it if anyone could give an approximate value on these cards, they are not for sale though. Thanks!

In this case, pictures are in fact worth a thousand words.

Got nothing for you without pictures, son.

Pics or nothing.

An there's no such thing as a Revised Full-Art Tropical Island.

It might be altered, that would explain the full-art and the initials in the corner. Or be a proxy.

I've never heard an alter described that way, but it seems the most likely explanation.

Yes, the Trop is altered (I realized the initials are probably the artist's initials). I tried to get some pictures but with my crappy old phone (iPhone 3GS) the cards are so blurry, any impurities would be indistinguishable. I'll do my best to get some pictures up ASAP.

Yeh I'm guessing an alter.

are you looking to get rid of either of these? Id be interested in the trop if you are, pending pictures and a condition check, of course.

I too would be interested in the trop... I happen to be on the lookout for one for EDH.

The last sentence says they're not for sale (not to discount the possibility that OP will change his/her mind).

Whoops, missed that. Sorry. If you do change your mind, though, id still be interested.
