Unopened Reality Smasher Promo..

Okay, so over the weekend I ordered a playset of Promo Reality Smasher
s for roughly $8-9 a piece. One of them came in today and it's still unopened in the plastic wrap that promos tend to come in.. The question is; do I just say "fuck it" and open it & use it; or should I consider it an investment, keep it, and just order another one for my Heartless Obliteration.. deck?
I seen people act not real excited about it, but I figured if Eldrazi decks becomes a thing in Modern then this will get pretty valuable..
On a side note: I also ordered some promo Thought-Knot Seer as well, but they haven't came in yet, what if any of them are still unopened?

Whoops, I put the wrong price.. Actually I paid about $8-9 a piece.. I just got used to seeing the ~15$ tag for foil Reality Smashers on this site over the past several days..

Opening them won't make a difference whatsoever. As long as you sleeve your cards and take care of them the value will be the same. Also,$15 may have been a bad price to pick these guys up at. Dont get me wrong they are great cards,I have a foil playset myself,but $15 is just really high. I got mine At $4 a piece,granted I have some decent connections. I think it'll settle around $10.
