Last I saw, they were about $5 each. Now it's closer to $10. I understand that it's a land, and that sees some eternal play. However, is this price inflation mostly due to standard use, or will it just keep rising?

I don't think the inflation has much to do with Standard use. Remember that Urborg was a 30 dollar card before it was reprinted.

Well, it's the most played card in standard according to mtgtop8.

Mostly Standard use. I don't really see why else it would rise, since it was already Modern legal.

The reason it's already going back up is because of rotation coming up in a few months. It was a $40 card prior to being reprinted and is unique enough that it can't just be printed in any set (why they printed it in a core set). That means if there is another reprint that it won't happen for quite some time and would most likely be in a supplemental set, limiting how much supply will actually increase. Now is not the time to sell on Urborg, now is the time to pick them up. Especially foil copies.

Used to be a 40$ card, it'll keep rising.

It will take a sizable hit on rotation, then creep up slow, and steady. I would guess 30%.

I got one just some days ago from an M15 booster pack, looks like a great card and was around $8,7 on MTGPrice.com and 4,5 on MagicCardMarket.eu.

The trendline seems to be going up for a while now.
