Wait until rotation?

My question is this: I want to buy my second playset of Scavenging Ooze and my first sets of Archangel of Thune and Kalonian Hydra but should I wait until they rotate out? Will they drop much in price or is buying them now decent?

Everything except the ooze will not see play outside of standard. Ooze will be in higher demand for Jund to have more control over the yard after the DRS ban, so i expect a rise for now.

Look at what happened to the price of Restoration Angel for example after rotating out.

Boza archaangel is used n some pod decks aswell.

As for the question at hand, yeah, you probably should wait til they rotate. I guess you dont need these guys for standard play aye?.

Well, I can confirm that the prices of all three have settled down as of late beyond their original hype. There might be more savings on some fronts, like the Archangel of Thune and Kalonian Hydra post rotation, but I kind of agree with the opinion on Scavenging Ooze . Something post-standard will be using it somehow. As for me personally, I'm grabbing my Archangel of Thune as soon as I can for my Gisela, Blade of Goldnight Commander deck (Gisela's Angelic Beatdown). Sometimes, you can never tell with Mythics, it just depends on if people take a strong enough liking to them. I would expect them to fall, but if one of them would retain any value my estimation would be Archangel of Thune .

Wait until after rotation for all three of them. ScOoze will stay the same at best, and the others will drop. I'm wondering why you would even want to buy sets of these cards after they rotate out of standard...

Resto Angel is actually seeing some play in Modern, and has crept back up in price a little bit. It's no where near what it was, but who knows what'll happen. If (when?) Flooded Strand and Windswept Heath are reprinted, lots of white options will open up in Modern.

I'll wait then. I like how these cards interact as I'm a casual player most of the time(rarely make it to events) and I dont play standard either.
