So, Waste Not is around 6$ right now (according to TCG). But, will it rise or fall in price? What do you think it's going to be?

I think it will fall to 2$. Is this realistic? :D

I remember people predicting that it would be 10-15 dollar and I was just like LOL.

I think in the region of $5 is legit for that card.

I believe by the release of Khans, Waste Not will most likely go for a dollar, maybe dollar-fifty at best. It won't be able to synergize with Whispering Madness . Now if there was a new global discard/draw in Khans....

Depends on the discard power of khans.

As of right now, I don't see it being anywhere above $4.

There really needs to be a powerful discard / draw card like Whispering Madness , Reforge the Soul , or another Wheel of Fortune effect that's prevalent to get this thing to go up in price.

For as into that card as I am, it will be easy to pickup sets. I already unloaded mine from prerelease at $7.21. I assume I'll be able to get 2 sets of these for that much eventually.

I'd Reckon Waste Not to hold steady between $3-$5. It has potential to be played around it. If it does, the price may go up, but for the moment with the meta and formats, I don't think there is a solid home for it yet.

Hm....

So, it's a bad deal, to pick up the card now?

I want to play it. Mostly because of Whispering Madness . But when that rotates, will it then be playable in standard? :D

It really depends on how good the discard in Khans is. At the moment, it isn't really playable. Especially since we don't even have Duress anymore...

So..... I know this is more of a deck help but.... Will my deck be good after the rotation?

Waste No Whispering Squids!

Should I "invest" in Waste Not ? And then maybe loose 3-4 dollars each when the rotation comes?

I say hold off on dropping money into Waste Not just yet. I pulled one pre-release and traded it away instantly. It will drop down to a couple bucks soon, grab them then. If Khans has powerful discard engine in it, you did good, fi not, you only lost $8 instead of $24+ now.

We may not have Duress but we do have Mind Rot . How I see it there's just one or two missing pieces to make Waste Not good. Too bad Rakdos's Return is rotating lol.
