Tcgplayer.com finds the cheapest price from a lot of different stores.

I've had good experiences with AmazingMTG.com. Don't know if they ship outside the US. In general they've had decent prices, but their stock is hit or miss sometimes. Customer service has been great, and they usually ship next day. I always compare their stock and prices with StarCityGames.com when I'm buying online.

I use abugames.com a lot. Its prices are not always the best (usually a notch or so higher than your average SCG prices). I'd say they're at the higher end of market average. If you hunt for foils, it has probably the largest inventory for them. Has a huge inventory of nonfoils too.

They're usually very solid on condition, in that your NM-M cards will actually be near-mint or mint. I've been disappointed a couple of times, though. They are pretty good about reimbursing you or replacing cards if you aren't satisfied with condition. Their foils are almost always in great shape.

I'm going to start trying SCG more. Have you guys had any issues with condition there?

JakeHarlow I've never once had an issue with the condition.

When they say near mint they mean pretty much right outta the packs.

I really can't say enough good about SCG.

They have a huge stock on promos too.

I just ordered 4x Killing Wave promos (Hence the reference) for 2.49 a pop.

Great price for a beautiful promo!

I always buy off of TCGPlayer. So long as your vendor has over 5k sales, you should be good with them. Basically, the more sales a certain vendor has, the better your experience will be with them, so you might want to spend the extra .50 cents to go with the well known, experienced guy. As for shipping, just contact the store via message, and they should tell you within a day or so whether or not they ship to Canada.

Facetofacegames.com is a good one for Canada (Montreal Based). Shipping is about a buck sixty for any number of singles to anywhere in Canada. Prices are always better then my LGS, and competitive with other sites. TGC is great and all, but if you have to deal with multiple non US sellers - shipping becomes an issue. I ran comparisons a few times on random singles orders I've made. TGC ended up negligibly cheaper, but took significantly more work to ascertain if each seller could ship to Can and for how much. I just use Facetofacegames.com now.

EBay is your best bet for mtg, you might have to search a little but you can usually get what you're looking for at below market value. I always compare eBay to SCG and TCG before I purchase anything and it almost never fails to be cheaper than both :)

Channelfireball.com is my favorite. I usually check prices at both StarCityGames and ChannelFireball, and the latter is always cheaper (sometimes by quite much on large orders).

Thanks guys, I have heard of channelfireball but not really the other ones :)

@smackjack tcg player does not show you the cheapest price from a lot of different stores. They only show you the stores (and individual sellers) that signed up and opted to have their's listed. If you or your store have not opted in then your cards will not be listed on TCG. That's a common misconception people have, that TCG is some kind of search engine that'll find the cheapest prices available anywhere. A second misconception would be that everyone you but from on TCG is an actual brick and mortar store. In reality all you have to do is follow their process to get your items listed. It doesn't matter if your an actual card shop with a reputation and credibility or Joe Schmo living in his moms basement selling off his old collection.
