What's the deal with Goblin Guide?

I need three more of the damn things for my new burn deck. Every time I look, they've gone up in price. A little bit more every day. Should I grab the rest of the playset ASAP, or is this more likely a temporary thing I could just wait out for a little while?
I mean, I'd imagine it could easily just be "Tron is doing well, Burn kills Tron, GOBLIN GUIDES!" but I'm not the best at figuring this stuff out.

I was planning to wait a little to pick up the rest of the fetches anyway, so that'd work nicely.

I don't think GG would drop. It will only drop if it gets a reprint. That can only be in Modern Masters 3, which is probably reprinted in 2017. I think you might as well buy them.

Wont drop without a reprint. And as some1 who jumps on every rumortrain im gonna say: theres no goblin guide reprint in ETERNAL masters ;)

Or you can just jump off the hype train an buy another 2 power one drop. GG is over rated.

There's really not another 
1CMC quite like Goblin Guide, and it's by far the best creature in the deck, aside from Eidolon of the Great Revel.
GG can often get through for a lot of damage, if unchecked, and can give you information on what the opponent has/is going to play. That being said, GG will more than likely retain it's value, if not increase, lest there's a reprint.

The only reason its decent is because of haste. But theres many other 1 drop 2 power creatures that work fine. And lets not forget giving your opponent ramp every attack.If people want to drop cash on GG more power to them. I just wont pay $ for haste. My reds do just fine.

Goblin Guide will only drop with a reprint, it is to integral to the deck. But I also don't think the price will increase any time soon.
There are only two cards from BFZ and OGW that returned from the original Zendikar block that did not have additional printings elsewhere.
Dragonmaster Outcast and Felidar Sovereign seem to bit it (excluding promos and missing a card), why is that?

I can agree. Even monastery swift spear is a decent if not better replacement.

I would say wait until all of the hype for modern is over a month or so after Pro Tour OGW.
