When Should I Buy Jace?

I want the new Jace, Cunning Castaway, just because he's a cool, unique walker, sorta a collection thing. THis means it isn't really a pressing matter, I don't desperately need him for a standard deck or something.
THe question I'm asking you is this: When should I buy Jace? He's at ~$11 as of posting, ~$25 for prerelease promo, and ~$30 for a foil. WHere do you guys project these prices will go? I know he'll drop when he rotates out, but that is a loooong ways away.

I'd say wait and watch the ixalan ProTour. If you see a lot of him in early rounds doing well, that means a high chance of him not dropping until he rotates, as was the case with Gideon and liliana. If that's the case, either wait until he rotates, or buy him before finals, or he will likely skyrocket if he makes it that far in any decks. If he doesn't have ProTour presence, wait until he drops post ProTour to buy him, that's usually the best way in my experience. I got torrential gearhulks for really damn cheap with that method, as well as getting ogw Nissa at her lowest and my friend got a really cheap playset of lilannas that way.
I guess I can't guarantee it'll work for you, but it seems pretty effective for me when it comes to wanting high priority cards
