I'm Awful at picking when to buy cards. I know modern masters isn't going to rotate out and they're shouldn't be any price drops. When do you guys feel the next best time to buy is? And $16 a booster is it worth it? What are the odds of pulling something good?

The best time has long gone. It's only going to go up from here until ever.

Yeah, boosters were $8-$10 at some game shops shortly after release. Know that you probably won't pull enough out of your boosters to cover the cost unless you get extremely lucky and pull a Tarmogoyf , Dark Confidant , or Vendilion Clique . Keep in mind that those are mythics, too, so there's a very low chance of pulling them; even in a full box.

If you're looking to buy MM, play draft or sealed with friends. A large part of their cost comes from their entertainment value.

I can't tell if I love or hate the new dark confidant. There is something funny about using skrillex for card advantage.

Bro, that ship has sailed. If you really want to get them, now is better than later. Even if you arent going to open the packs, the packs themselves will continue to rise in price

at my lgs they have 1 box left and they're selling packs for 27 each. 16 seems fairly reasonable.
