Stoneforge Mystic jumped 7$ in price today and I can see no reason why. Can anyone help explain this phenomenon to me?

JESUS I'm glad to have mine already.

She probably just won a legacy tournament or broke a format again or whatever.

She is pretty good at tutoring up swords/Batterskull for True-Name Nemesis . She's been broken for awhile, I guess I'm glad I got mine at 9.

I would agree that True-Name Nemesis could be the culprit here for the surge

Stoneforge Mystic was broken approximately $7 harder apparently lol

True-Name Nemesis is a likely suspect, he is holding a blade after all.

Stoneforge Mystic could've climbed $7 because a store only has a few left.

Score I just got 4 of them 3 days ago. :)

Time to make money. Anyway I'd have to agree that Blue White is seeing a lot of play with True-Name Nemesis and those weapon sets of Kaldra. Helm of Kaldra , Sword of Kaldra , Shield of Kaldra . There are also the swords of Fire and Ice etc... to go on True Name Nemesis. You also have Haunted Plate Mail which is very pesky and seeing play due to how annoying it can be to remove and how well it works against control.

I've never seen the Kaldra Weapons in any top deck recently. What are you seeing? lol Same for Haunted Plate Mail

Played in my meta a lot and local Tournaments. In South Western Australia there isn't a great deal of options for getting into massive tournaments so I don't follow the tours for modern etc... only standard.

Ah. Could explain it. Mostly in competetive legacy all that they are tutoring for is Batterskull , Umezawa's Jitte , and some of the swords. There is also an enchantment that destroys other enchantments that is seeing play.

Not an enchantment. lol an Equipment that destroys other Equipment

Lol the hype is real. 28 on TCG now. I thought about buying some yesterday but I had no idea what its ceiling would be (still don't actually). I mean, she'll never be reprinted for standard, and MM shows that limited printings don't hurt long term prices of high-caliber staples. I guess I'll jump on em now?

Also she will never be reprinted in a MM because she is not modern legal...

Yeah. If they were to do a Legacy Masters or FTV with her is what I was referring too. MM is our only real example, since its the first of its kind
