Is this because of the reprint for the limited set FTV?

That is exactly right, also it maybe due to True-Name Nemesis being pretty good at fighting a jace.

Ifor one am extremely happy to see this trend. I'd love to be able to pick one up for EDH purposes but my miserly personality says no.

The drop in price for Jace, the Mind Sculptor coincides with the FTV launch and the inability for it to sell out. you can still buy the full set for just over 150$ and buy jtms for around 85$, His drop started and continues with this trend. Though it's stabilized here and the WWK version is at around 95 (non-foil). While the foil wwk is around 550$ (all lows based on current tcgprices and shipping for near mint). The foil was still at 750 in august when the non-foil hit 90 and the ftv was around 80. As these sell, the price will climb back up.

TNN had nothing to do with the price drop. afaict, j, tms play has not dropped since his release and still in the same numbers he was before tnn.

FTV was limited but so many people hoarded it bc of the jace, except bc of that and asking price 4/5times msrp, they still have plenty in stock, with low demand drove the price down to the $125 shipped easily found on ebay, i saw BF sales of ftv for $100 each in stores.

i think once the FTV supply really begins to run low well see jace rise back up some, i bought my FTV expecting jace to drop more but legacy isnt a rotating format so i was banking on the year or 2 increase
