Will Foil Mutavault in NM condition go up post rotation?

People always say that the cards used in other formats beside standard could go up, especially if foil. Does this apply to a m14 NM foil Mutavault or will to crash down?

I see Mutavault dropping, but not too much, and the foil even less. Followed by an increase in to the following modern season. I think it will gain a good amount. I would hold on to that card long term if you do not have immediate needs. I also see it climbing for now through the remainder of it's stay in standard.

I'd guess that it will go down considerably once standard rotates but then give it a few more years and it's price will gradually increase until it's higher than what it is now.

it will fluctuate with the season and what decks are big just like all eternal format staples

Mutavault is ubiquitous. See how many of the top tourny decks are running it? Look at the decks in Playtest Against SCG Tourney Decks: Post-BoTG and you'll see. It may gain a little more before rotation. Then, slight drop, but long-term will be great if you can hold onto it.

I bet it drops then rises, like TitansFTW said. But foils that are used in modern usually maintain good value.

I doubt it will drop after rotation, it's pretty low already, but it will definitely rise more a few months after it rotates. As for foil, it will probably rise faster than non-foil. It seems to be a trend recently that Modern staples in foil are in high demand. People want to foil out their Modern decks.
Take a look at Snapcaster as an example. At SCG right now he's $40, but a foil is $150. Usually foils are 50%-100% more than the non foil. I'm predicting Mutavault will follow the same pricing trend.

I really can't see Mutavault crashing at any point, regardless of foil or non-foil. The Morningtide printing of it was $35 before the reprint, which is what it's at now. The price may drop slightly when it rotates, but it probably won't drop below $25, and may actually hold at $30-35 after the dip. It sees a fair amount of play in Modern, which is the reason the price is as high as it is.
