Awesome planeswalkers. Really want to get my hands on a few. Think the 30-40 price tag will stick? Move up or down? Thoughts?

Walkers often come down from prerelease hype prices. Xenagos will be interesting, though, because I think the Standard meta will experience a heavy GR lean post-rotation.

He should be pretty powerful in Jund, possibly Naya, but I think overall since GR is usally aggro he won't see nearly as much constructed as you'd think. This is assuming Gruul Aggro continues to be more relavant than Midrange, but depending on how he performs I can see it leaning either way.
Regardless, the PW hype is putting over the top. He's not on the same level as Liliana of the Veil as his price suggests.

I think him and Domri Rade are going to be pretty awesome together. Domri fills your hand and Xenagos then gives you the mana to dump your hand. Burning-Tree Emissary also loves Xenagos. A lot.

Waiting on this one to come down. A great card for Jund and Naya midrange.

BTW, I'm waiting to see how well three color decks fair in the new meta before I decide. I don't love him for Gruul aggro. That's why I'm not jumping yet.

Emissary loves him because on your turn 2 you'll be dropping 2-3 creatures with 1 or 2 emissary's out, so it makes Xenagos that much more effective when you drop him if you already have 3-5 creatures out.

Between Elspeth, Sun's Champion, this, and Chandra, Pyromaster. The Superfriends may reunite... with removal like Clan Defiance and Magma Jet on the horizon

Really debating pre-ordering this dude for $40. Voice of Resurgence was pre-ordering for like $20 and hovered at $50 for a while and now it's around the $30 - $40 range, but, as someone above mentioned before, Planeswalkers usually go down. Unless you're Liliana of the Veil .
I love my Gruul deck and it won my my first FNM ever, so I'm really hyped for this guy and it's a super tough call.

pretty solid card still would love to play him on turn 2 but i can't seem to make that possible turn 1 drop a mystic turn 2 burning-tree and satyr hedonist but that wouldn't be enough :(

Down. I think he'll hover around $25.
