Zen Fetches. Buy now or wait?

With rumors of Zendikar fetches getting a reprint in Eternal Masters, is now a good time to buy them? If they DON'T see a reprint, I can see a spike in prices. If they do see a reprint, they could go down some.

So, what do you think? Buy now or...?

Not sure.

Subbing to see what people say about this.

I could be completely wrong, but I'd say to buy them if you only need a few. If you're looking to just have them, I'd wait.

I feel like you're correct. Eternal Masters would be a great place to reprint them while only taking 5 rare slots. However, if they aren't reprinted I can see them spiking hard due to the uncertain future of a reprint.

Yes, That' is also my advice. If you need them now, get them now. If you dont need them, wait it out. If you feel like making the gamble, you won't be out too much in the case of a reprint.

If they don't see a reprint, they'll climb. Again... They have to reprinted at some point.

I think it is a pretty safe bet that they will be reprinted so I would wait personally. Obviously there is no proof and no for sure answer but it just seems kind of unlikely they wont be reprinted

They were on the list of things to expect out of eternal masters at the time of the leak, among Wasteland, FoW, and Rish Port, so I also expect to see them in the upcoming set.

People have been expecting these things to be reprinted in every upcoming set for the last 2 years. I wouldn't mind paying 40$ for a Scalding Tarn but I wouldn't hold my breath on it happening.

Any reprint from a limited distribution set will not significantly lower price anyway. Not enough for you to really care.

Price may even go up if more people decide to enter non-rotating formats during the point when KTK fetches rotate out of standard.

Wait!

They are almost gaurenteed in EMA!

Atony1400 In no way are they an sort of guaranteed. We thought that about Battle for Zendikar, and BOTH Modern Masters. In addition, we thought Damnation would be in either MM, Magic Origins and FTV:A. We thought Serum Visions would be in Theros, both MM and Magic Origins. We got a sort of print with the FNM promos.

There is almost no indication of ZEN fetches, and a precedent for hype that led to nothing.

Well see. It would be nice. However, pick them up now while they're down because of the hype.

Atony1400 That's literally opposite of what you said. lol There is a 0% guarantee they will be in EMA. Granted, it's a very likely place for them to get reprinted, but this is WotC we are talking about. They don't listen to the players demands, and honestly, I'm not getting my hopes up. You might as well buy whichever ones you want to play now, and have the surprise of a reprint later. Plus, most hardcore players want original print, so moving them will be easy. The new border isn't very popular...

As others have said, there really is no guarantee. There were no cycles of rare lands in MM2013 or MM2015. Following that trend don't expect them in EMA either. If they are reprinted we will see a slight dip in price while EMA is being opened, but then they will stabilize back to what they are at now. If they're not reprinted, expect their value to keep climbing higher.

In all honesty you're better off just buying the ones you need now.
