Making my custom Edh deckbox

I am building a deckbox for my Karador deck and I am just getting excited about how it is starting to look. I have hand carved Huntokar from Welcome to Nightvale. It is made of oak that will all be stained with ebony stain so the lines all look nice and dark. It will have a purple satin lining and dark brass hinges and clasp. The lid will be two parts and as it opens it will reveal a full row of canine teeth on either side of the opening so it looks almost like a mouth opening.

Doing this has meant a lot to me and I want to make sure I get everything out of this that I really want, so if anyone has any tips, helpful ideas, or just general feedback I would really appreciate hearing it!
