Hi, Recently my friends and I started playing mtg in a dorm room, but its hardwood and we dont have any tables to play on. My sleeves have been getting kind of grody recently. I just need a cheap durable playmat that I can use to keep my stuff cleanish. My budget is about $10. I've looked on ebay and getting a mat and tube seems to go for about $14 at the cheapest.

you could go to inkedplaymats and get a blank playmat. http://www.inkedgaming.com/products/blank-playmat fits the budget and is quite affordable, the way its mailed is a tube that can work as your storage tube for it. also playmats are generally machine washable.

The tube is obviously going to add some cost, but you really don't need the tube unless you're stuffing your bag or traveling a lot. Rolling the mat will work just fine for most applications.
Most stores will charge you about $10 for blank, solid-color playmats.

I'll check with the group to see if they want to do a bulk mousepad material purchase, I think that might be the best option, but some of us already have playmats so I don't think it will happen. Thanks for the suggestion though @Coinman1863 I never would have thought of that myself!
@asasinater13 and @ Epochalyptik the shipping charges on the mat make it out to about $14, for that price I can get a nice printed mat or a blank mat with a tube. And I don't really frequent stores, so buying online would be the best option for me.
Thanks for your suggestions!

Threads don't exactly close on this site, we just stop commenting on them. I believe the rule of thumb is that if a thread hasn't been used in 2 weeks it's poor form to comment on it again, and better to just make a new thread. So just leaving it alone is as good as closing it.

Well, buy a roll of mousepad material, that's basically what a playmat is, then cut it to size for everyone one. Example. Its a lot cheeper.
