Seeking advice on customisable tokens.

Hey folks.
I'm looking into creating some customisable tokens. As my collection grows, so does my need for more and more tokens and lugging around a large collection of tokens and sifting through it is getting tedious. It's also a personal issue that I like to have correct tokens when the opponents don't bring any, and there obviously aren't any for token copies of existing creatures.
It seems like acetone is pretty effective in removing the ink from junk foil cards. I was hoping I could get some feedback from people on the effectiveness of using whiteboard marker & eraser on these blank foils? Is it easy enough to wipe this marker off with the eraser or a wet towel after use, or does one need to use a more harsh removal (such as acetone) to wipe these clean again? I'd like to be able to clean them and draw on them again multiple times in the one session ideally.
So any feedback on that would be greatly appreciated and/or does anybody have any better suggestions for reusable, customisable tokens?
Thanks in advance!

To reduce space I use clear perfect fit sleeves and fit 2 different tokens back to back in them. I try to make sure they are for different decks, for instance, zombies on one side and humans on the other.
