What would you think if you saw a commander player pull something like this out for their commander decks? Link one Link two
I'm thinking it may be interesting to buy in the future since I'm the type of edh player that has at least 5 decks with them whenever they go play magic anywhere (what can I say, I like variety).
Would your initial impression be of someone using these to carry their decks? Just wondering. Also, do you see anything that could potentially make these ill-suited to what I asked above?
Thanks!

I would quickly start calling them Seto Kaiba.

Harbor Freight has similar boxes like that. I have this case that I carry my decks around in. It comes with dividers that you can take out and arrange and separate decks or other boxes (I use them to separate edh decks, 60 card decks and boxes that have counters or tokens in).

I'd ask them where the President is and why his football isn't with him.
It seems sweet though. Briefcases are sweet, whether they are full sized or not.

Myself as well as fair few of the people at my club have ones similar to those. I don't see what the big deal is.

i have the ultra pro version that was out about 8 years ago. It's really good and fits alot of decks. Unfortunately i have outgrown it lol so it's now home to a select few. It's key lockable as well, which never hurts. Was pricey, but it's really cool :-)

Well, it would make travel with these really easy. I personally am a fan of the Fat Pack method, where you stack 3-4 fat packs in a backpack with your dice playmat and everything else. Works well, although I should maybe get a small divider thing so they don't rattle at all.

I would say NERD. Then realize it would be pretty helpful for me. I carry 8 EDH decks with me. Who's the nerd now lol. I am a tired and sarcastic person right now. I make no sense to myself.
I just have my back pack, and a couple of cardboard boxes that are past their prime in it. I need to upgrade my storage somehow.

I have a similar one I store my decks in at home. I'm able to fit nearly 15 decks+SB and extra sleeves. Then I carry a dragons egg(holds 4 decks) in my everyday carry bag ; )

Eh, I'm not a fan but that is just personal preference. I think it's too big and clunky and...eh. I'm one of those scrubs who throws x amount of deck boxes into a backback with a playmat and binder and head out.

Yeah I felt like it had a sort of lameness to it, but I think it may be worth saving the expenses of having to bring a backpack as well and buy a deck box for each of my 5-7 decks and trade binder. Basically, I could have a section for trade things (sleeved of course), sections for my decks, and a section for dice and stuff.
Thanks for the input guys, I'll be considering purchase for a while.

If I saw someone pull their EDH deck out of one of those, I would target them, because they obviously have spent a lot of time and money on EDH and will probably kick everyone's asses if left unimpeded.

While this looks cool, it seems like unless you -really- stuffed it, you would have cards and boxes rattling around in there, as those pockets are not sized specifically for commander decks. That's not really something you'd want to happen to your decks, I'm sure.
