Booster Box Buy

So I, my brother and some of my friends will be splitting a booster box four ways and the building decks out of that and playing sealed. We have currently narrowed it down to three, but suggestions would be fine just please try and keep them under 300$. We would like the set to have some fun cards but also have some monetary value. We have no idea out of these three. here is the link to the spreadsheet we made with cards and value of those and stuff if you want to see. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-HKEMNJy5K-NmX9P6jomr3c4voNCVa2VuBxj7zEQNHA/edit?usp=sharing
Thanks in advance!

Like Timmy said, go for three ~$100 boxes. That's triple the games for the same price, and if you get the right ones, plenty of value to go around.
Look for lower costed boxes for sets that include decent lands. This is because the lands will always hold value, and you can probably use them, while other high priced cards won't be as likely to be usable by you.
Some options:
-
Ravnica Allegiance
-
Gatecrash
-
Guilds of Ravnica
Look for others here: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/prices/paper/boosters . Note that their prices are a little wack, read them as if you're talking to someone on LSD.

Depends on what format you want to play. Modern? Grab modern horizons or master. Standard? Theres plenty to chose from I personally like war of the spark. If you want a good draft experience go with battlebond or conspiracy

Thank you all for the suggestion and I have thought them all over. I really like the idea to try and get many of the different color combinations. I have also added Mirrodin besieged to the list as it is in price range. Thanks again! shadow63 , I am a casual/edh player looking to get into modern.

If you want to get into modern buying singles is the way to go. No one or two sets will have enough for you to build with. But all 3 ravnica blocks have shock lands. Khans of tarkir has fetch lands. And battle for zendikar and oath of the gate watch have some nice eldrazi

shadow63 I think he wants to play limited and also get a return. It's a decent notion, just be sure to remember that you'll pull $20-50 less than you spend. It's probably worth the few hours of fun on top of some nice chase rares, but don't go thinking you'll get a full return.

TriusMalarky , I agree and full well know we won't get our total value back, we just want to crack some packs, have some fun, and maybe get a decent return.

Cool. Then just go for something with fetches or shocks in it. There's 6 sets with shocks, 3 sets with fetches(minus the masters sets, but i dunno how many of those there are). Those cards are definitely worth picking up, especially because you'll be able to use them and the ones you won't(like maybe you refuse to play but you pick up a Steam Vents) you'll be able to trade real easy. Everyone's in the market for lands.
I personally recommend getting 2-3 different Ravnica sets with shocks in them, such as Gatecrash and Guilds(Dissension and City are far too expensive) because then you increase the amount of times you can play(I mean, 2 or 3 rounds is much more fun than 1) and you increase overall volume. When it comes to limited, especially when you want to get yourself some playable or tradable cards out of it, go for the cheaper stuff because you get more fun for less money and a higher chance to nab the cards worth nabbing.

Mystery boosters have pretty valuable reprints and a lot of good cards. If you can get a mystery booster box that would probably be worth the value.
Ravnica allegiance has shock lands some valuable mythics.
