If you put the name of your deck in between these [ ], it'll make an link to it.

the best way to get comments is to cycle it to the top. if you want to flag it as 'newb' you'll get a lot more advice, too, as people often check that.

My current rank is T/O 723 with average deck rating being 10.00.

What gauges the ranks, does it help me in anyway? what's it all about?

Thanks

Your rank is determined by the amount of points you've collected. Your points are determined from how active you are on the site. The more points you have, the lower your rank is numerically.

Basically, ranks and points are a way to get you to be more interactive with the site.

Um, having points makes me more interactive? ok....

I was thinking it may help people find me because of popularity or something, so they're worthless as I understand it?...

Thanks

If you're inside the top 100 you can change your "rank" from "deckling" to something else of your choice. Other than that, there isn't really a whole lot. Its mostly just a way to measure your activity within the community.

How would I go about raising it from 700 to 100 or higher?

kmcree says... #9

Just be active on the site. Comment on threads, give people advice on decks, etc.

just don't spam. If you have nothing appropriate to say or anything that advances the thread, let it be.

basically, don't just comment on random decks and threads just to up your "activity" on the site. Be an active, constructive member. Not saying you aren't, just throwing that bit of information out there.

Huh, even I learned something. I just assumed admins got to change the Deckling status.

It's just a nice thing to have. No huge benefits other than a feeling of superiority.

You actually have to both be in the top 100 users and be an upgraded user to change your title.

Although the rank itself is meaningless (as has been pointed out), being active and commenting on decks and forums means that you can make a name for yourself on the site, making people more likely to comment on your decks or forum posts that you start. The increased rank is just a nice side-effect.

I think Titan hit the point on the head. Basically, although rank technically means nothing it does show how active you are, the more well known you are on the site the more likely it is people will comment on your decks and such.
