I made this first goblin deck and I want some comments on it.
Thanks
I got a foil Courser of Kruphix from pre-release. I don't really follow Standard anymore, so I just recently noticed the price spike on it. However, I play it in an EDH deck of mine. I was wondering whether it would be wise to keep it until it's no longer in print, or if I should sell it now while it's high?
Basically, is it at its peak now or will it be worth a lot more in years to come?

Hm if i were you, i'd sell it and buy a regular one if you only use it in your edh.

It won't go up in price because it's a bad version of Oracle of Mul Daya .
Its price is being supported by demand from standard players, not from modern or vintage etc.

@ ChiefBell wrong. Modern-Jund relies on Courser of Kruphix now to smoothen their lifeloss from Dark Confidant . Sometimes Scavenging Ooze alone isn't good enough. Also having 4 toughness makes him significantly better than Oracle in Modern, as some decks splash red only to play Lightning Bolt .

Interesting. I did a quick mtgtop8 search and found nothing. I suppose it's still a bit behind.

I really need to stop only playing EDH and start properly following other formats.

Rather take a look at the modern lists that went 6-4 or better at PT: http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/ptbng14/moderndecks

I personally think he is going to be one of the big money cards of this set. Its like a poor mans Oracle of Mul Daya on a tougher body, EDH loves having him, He will probably see some Modern play, and he has become a standard lynch pin for the time being. He makes every deck run smoother as long as it can hit the double green CMC. His price may drop once the Born of the Gods hype fades, but he will probably hold steady as about a 5 dollar card, not foil. Your foil one will be valuable, besides the fact that most shops won't buy it because only a select demographic wants foil cards and is willing to pay the extra money for them.

They wouldn't even buy my foil Domri Rade back when he wasn't that expensive : (

It'll go down again. The current price is just hype. It may be seeing some play in Modern, but compare how much play it gets to something like Scavenging Ooze . It's currently a higher price than Sc'ooze, which is crazy. Sell it now. It'll be at $5 in no time.

Well, I apparently just found out why Courser of Kruphix is useful for modern, but as I only keep up with EDH, I have no idea what it's doing for standard. Anyone wanna paraphrase?

codebread g/r monsters picked it up and it works wonders with his bff Domri Rade .

How come it synergizes with Domri Rade . I would think that seeing the top of your library wouldn't affect whether you +1 or not as you would probably be trying to +1 every turn anyway. Or does it help with knowing when to -2?

It helps you in the way, that you can play lands from your library. And often enough a creature is underneath, which you can then draw with Domri +1. So you basically draw 3 cards per turn (card from draw-step, land from library and domri +1).

That's a fair point; never thought about it. Thanks for the eye opener.

except when it doesn't work, two lands on top or two creatures on top or god forbid Mizzium Mortars . Oh the humanity.

@JoeTheKid
Fired a few thoughts onto your deck deck:goblin-pill in the comments section...
1 tip for ya would be to use the description field to describe what your wanting to do with your deck so that folk can see and give more idea's about the kinds of cards you could work with.
That way folk can focus more on sharing idea's regarding your deck and get a better understanding of what it is you want to achieve.
Hope this helps.
